Summarizing a great month of May

We are glad to summarize a great month of events !

Starting in Infosec Israel, continuing to the Paris- Forum “Matchmaking in the Cloud” and concluding our monthly activities at AusCERT, Australia, we’d love to share our insights.

Infosec Israel gathered hundreds of Israel’s leading security professionals for 1 day of presentations, and panels.

Participants included all major government organizations, telecom & hi tech companies. Checkmarx founder & CTO, Mr. Maty Siman, presented how Checkmarx’s technology enables organizations handle big data code analysis by optimizing the remediation efforts. Checkmarx exhibited in its booth the latest version of Checkmarx’s CxSuite, which gained a lot of interest.

Checkmarx was proud to participate in the 2013 Paris-Forum, “Matchmaking in the Cloud”.

The event focused on the growth and security considerations of Cloud based solutions. Participants included 60 highly selected attendees (VP Cloud, CTOs, CEOs, CIOs, alliance and partners Directors, Cloud Architect leaders…) from integrators, resellers, users, public and private R&D centers, startups and Cloud pure players. The first session was spent with several presentations from global cloud companies and French partners & companies; this included a keynote presentation on Cloud Security by David Hyman, VP SaaS at Checkmarx).

The second session was dedicated to pre-organized 1:1 private business meetings between Cloud service providers and strategic Cloud channel partners from the French region. The event was a strong success and a unique opportunity to network with business and research partners in France and meet Cloud leaders from the Paris Region.

The AusCERT Conference 2013 was a huge success and this year we were excited to exhibit.

About 1000 delegates attended, the conference attracted IT Security professionals and Worldwide Security Companies. The event reinforced Australia’s commitment to implementing the latest information security technologies and best practices. We were happy to meet with many government, banking, healthcare, and IT security professionals who were keen to discover how they can improve their existing code review processes. AusCERT is the premier Computer Emergency Response Team for Australia and provides computer information security advice to the Australian public, its members, including the higher education sector. The organization is a single point of contact for dealing with computer security incidents affecting or involving Australian networks.

Hope to see you at BlackHat2013!
