2016: The Year in Cyber Attacks [INFOGRAPHIC]

2016 has been littered with hacks, breaches and big discoveries of major vulnerabilities. From hundreds of millions in leaked stolen data to the hacks which influenced the US Presidential Election, this year has been very, very busy in terms of cyber attacks. 

A notable hack happened in October, when a planned Dyn DDoS attack managed to take multiple popular sites offline, a hack which occurred through insecure IoT devices and is considered one of the most sophisticated attacks to date. And 2016 ends with a bang with Yahoo, breaking the record for the biggest hack in history, confirming over 1B compromised accounts.
