  • Being a key player in the definition, implementation, and integration of quality principles into the design, development and deployment of software processes for the group;

Regional Sales Manager – Germany and Austria

Playing a key role in growing Checkmarx`s business across Germany and Austria the successful candidate will be responsible for selling into and developing new business within key and strategic accounts across all sectors of the economies in Germany and Austria. The successful candidate will therefore have an extensive network of business connections (also at CISO level) in many enterprises and corporations as well as channel partners.

Responsibilities

  • Penetrate and sell into new organizations /accounts and develop new business within existing customer base in large enterprises in Germany and Austria
  • Work with Checkmarx`s partners and system integrators to generate Checkmarx`s value propositions

Sales Engineer Germany

Checkmarx is seeking talented Field Sales Engineer to support its Sales and Business Development activities in Germany and the DACH region.

In this position, the primary responsibility would be to act as a technical adviser and product expert working in tandem with the sales team and drive the technological evaluation stage of a sales process.  The ideal candidate must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technically oriented prospects, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. Checkmarx is looking for a self-motivated individual who is comfortable working in a fast pace environment, and is accustomed to extensive travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical adviser and product expert for Checkmarx prospects and customers.
  • Manage and coordinate all technical requirements in the Sales process.
  • Perform technical demonstrations of the Checkmarx solution in face to face meetings, conventions and web sessions.
  • Responsible for presenting the Checkmarx solution to prospects at field events, Conferences, seminars etc.
  • Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFXs.

Senior Application Developer - Portugal

The perfect candidate has a robust application development background and is interested in moving into the application security space.

As a Solution Architect, your responsibilities will include:

-Conduct code-reviews with customers from a security perspective using output from the Checkmarx application security testing suite;

-Identify gaps in Checkmarx products and provide sound recommendations to resolve those gaps in our products while also deriving viable work arounds that may be implemented from the field;

-Consult on pre-sales engagements during POCs to demonstrate Checkmarx capabilities and provide guidance on successful implementation/roll-out strategies;

-Troubleshoot complex implementations of solutions with the Support teams, Professional Services, and customers in order to provide satisfactory resolution;

-Provide advanced training on Checkmarx-related topics including CI/CD integrations, languages and frameworks, Checkmarx APIs (REST), and other advanced, technical topics;

-Add Checkmarx query support from the field for (parseable) frameworks or constructs which are not supported by Checkmarx out of the box;

-Develop custom integrations on behalf of customers;

-Document in detail, lessons learned, viable solutions to problems, work-arounds, feature requests, defects, and other knowledge so that it may be shared with appropriate teams within Checkmarx;

-Work closely with R&D to do design reviews and share field experience to help shape design requirements that will alleviate challenges and problems

encountered by our customers;

-Consult with enterprise customers to promote implementation strategy which will be successful, sustainable, and in line with customer goals and KPIs and which also considers the strengths and weaknesses of our existing solution(s);

-Strive to be an expert on every aspect of Checkmarx and the technologies with which we integrate;


  • Requirements:

    •  The skill set we’re looking for:

      -Robust programming experience with many different languages. Java, C#, and JS experience a must other languages a plus; significant preference given for Go, Scala, and mobile languages;

      -Enterprise software development experience particularly as it pertains to using SCMs, CI/CD tools, defect tracking solutions, and best practices for enterprise software development;

      -Good communication skills – both verbally and written; these positions are customer-facing;

Senior Channel Sales Manager

Checkmarx is expanding and growing quickly worldwide as well as in the DACH region. The channel community and its partners, system integrators are a strategic focus for our company.

As part of that growth, we are seeking a highly driven, hunter-like, energized and self-motivated Security Channel Manager in Germany, who will be responsible for building the DACH channel and driving channel revenue for the region.

We are looking for someone who really understands:

  • The German, Swiss and Austrian corporate and government sectors and their security needs
  • The channel sector and geographic specifics in Germany, Switzerland and Austria and brings with him or her established contacts in medium sized and large partners.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, onboard and develop committed, capable and scalable channel partners to generate new business in existing accounts and in new markets in the DACH region
  • Create business plans with the individual partners, review these plans regularly and ensure achievement of plan
  • Provide consistent partner management and leadership to ensure that our partners are developing their sales, pre sales and delivery capabilities in line with the Checkmarx strategy.
  • Work with partners to develop and tactically execute GTM plans which will include lead generation activities, sales events, training/education and development of joint offerings

Solution Architect-UK

Checkmarx is looking for a Solution Architect who is passionate about helping customers implement integration solutions and services at scale. Ideal candidate is experienced technologist with technical breadth and depth coupled with strong interpersonal skills. As a solution architect, you will work directly with some of our largest customers to enable successful integration of Checkmarx products and services into customers SDLC.

You will partner with Sales, Professional Services, and several other Checkmarx teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of our services. Our solutions architects build architectures and provide prescriptive guidance across various SDLC approaches. 

Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend business strategies and requirements and develop custom solutions and designs to ensure successful implementations of Checkmarx products in to customer’s SDLC.
  • Act as a contributing member of the project team from project inception to completion
  • Develop and own ad hoc projects for internal or external use from design through implementation and deployment.
